For my Year 8 Project I constructed a mountain bike trail. I chose this project because I love mountain bike riding, trail building, playing in the dirt, art and being in the bush around animals and nature.

The process of building the trail starts by scoping out the route, then taking a chainsaw and whipper snipper down and cutting the trail.

This was a good project to do over the Covid-19 lockdown because it got me outside, in nature and exercising. I enjoyed being in the bush, observing animal behaviour, listening to music and being down in such an amazing landscape. This project also taught me how resilient the Australian bush is if we let it do its job.
