For my Year 8 Project I chose to connect a push bike into a motorised bike. The reason I chose this project was that I have a great interest in bikes, living and breathing bikes most days. I also have an interest in mechanics and engines. So, I combined these two interests and created a motorbike-push-bike hybrid.

The process involved in making my project was: do lots of research about motorised bikes and work out which motor to buy.

Decision making involved deciding whether it would be powered by an electric motor or a petrol motor. The electric motor would have been a lot more fuel efficient and have less impact on the environment, whereas the petrol motor was more in my price range and mote appealing to me, to have a throttle rather than just having  peddle assist.
